Summer Classes!

We are thrilled to offer hands-on science classes this summer! To ensure students get the most out of every class, please note the following schedule:
- When: Tuesday and Thursday mornings
- Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Format: Each week consists of two sessions.
- Attendance: Students must attend both Tuesday and Thursday of their selected week, as many projects are started on Tuesday and completed on Thursday.
- Prices: Costs vary per class due to supply and material fees. In an effort for transparency, prices are listed as fees and supply costs.

Come learn about colors and light! 🌈
From blowing giant bubbles to dyeing custom shirts—and even baking a tie-dye cake—students will dive into the science of color. Discover how light creates the world we see and how color impacts our daily lives in this hands-on, high-energy class!
Note: Participants must bring a white shirt to class in the correct size!

Plant a fairy garden! 🧚♀️
In this engaging class, students will explore the diversity of the floral world. Through the hands-on project of building fairy homes and planting take-home gardens, we combine scientific observation with artistic expression. It’s an educational experience designed to grow both knowledge and creativity! (Ages 6-14)

Nature Journaling: Where Science Meets Art 🌿
Nature journaling is a timeless way to connect with the world around us. It invites us to slow down and truly observe what is right before our eyes. Join us to master watercolor blending and create stunning botanical art projects. Together, we’ll turn scientific observation into a beautiful work of art! (Ages 6-14)

Does anyone else miss the Pinewood Derby? 🏎️
Bring that thrill to the next generation! Join us for a high-speed adventure where students build their own cars from scratch. We’ll dive into the science of friction, motion, and acceleration to see what makes a car truly fly.
Note: We will be renting an official pine-wood derby track and cars are included in the class fee.

We need a minimum of 6 students to make this class run. If the 6-student minimum is not met, a full refund or class credit will be issued

Baking is Science You Can Eat! 🧁 Have you ever wondered why bread rises or what an egg actually does in a cookie? Join us for a delicious exploration of kitchen chemistry! Students will learn the vital roles that ingredients like yeast, baking soda, and eggs play in our favorite recipes. Best of all, they’ll be creating several tasty treats to take home and share with the family! (Ages 6-14)
