Description: Welcome to Intermediate Biology! This year, we are focusing on biology where we will start with atoms, the basic building blocks of life, and move upwards all the way to ecosystems. In this class, we use will use presentations, real-world application, stories, poetry, games, art, experiments, acting, and even food to bring these lessons to life. Join our us for another incredible year of science education!
Prerequisites: Students must be able to focus in a group setting and read at least a sixth grade level.
Price: $450 for the year's tuition and a supply fee of $150 for the year, with a total of $600 for the school year.
Note: Supply fees are considered deposits for the course and become non-refundable after July 5, when supplies are ordered for all students.

Overview: This Honors Biology course is designed to bring hands-on and collaborative learning for students who are ready to be challenged. Because of the pace and depth of the curriculum, students must be committed to consistent study and class preparation. For high school students seeking a different pace, Intermediate Biology is available as an alternative.
Detailed Description: Our classroom operates as a high-level learning environment featuring:
• Professional Lab Equipment: Work with high-quality lab materials and microscopes typical of a high school biology lab. Conduct forensic investigations, dissections, and other experiments.
• Interactive Learning: Engage in scholarly discussions and peer-led student presentations.
• Active Review: Master complex concepts through review games and activities.
Prerequisite: Pre-Algebra
Price: $600 with a $200 lab supply fee, totaling $800 for the year.
