Science with Laura Courses 2025-2026

• Taught in person on Tuesdays from 1-3pm
• Math Requirements: Algebra 1 and Geometry are essential prerequisites
• My highs school Physics course is intended for students who are ready to study hard and prepare for college level science classes. 
• Ages 15-18 (10th-12th grade)
• Includes discussion, games, student presentations, and experiments
• Price is $250 per semester with a lab fee of $100 for the year. This is a total of $600 for the year. 
• Tuition includes all lab fees, art supplies, and random fun things like salsa parties.

• Taught in person on Tuesdays from 3-4:30 pm
• Ages 13-15 (I reserve the option to add a younger student to the class based on math and reading readiness and also availability in class spots. This is one of my most popular classes every year and I am giving spots to older students before younger students. The youngest student that can apply for an exception would be 11 years old)
• Includes discussion, games, art, student presentations, and experiments
• Students must be able to focus in a group setting and read at at least a sixth grade level
• Price is $350, and a lab fee of $100 for the year, with a total of $450 for the school year 
• This tuition covers all lab supplies and art materials.

• Taught in person on Wednesdays from 2:00-3:30 pm 
• Ages 7-12 (Essentially 3rd-7th grade)
• Includes discussion, stories, games, student presentations, art, and experiments
• Students must be able to focus in a group setting, follow directions, and it is helpful if they can read at at least a fourth-fifth grade level
• Price is $350 for the year, and a lab fee $100 for a total of $450 for the school year 
• This tuition covers all lab supplies and art materials.

• Taught in person on Thursdays from 1-2:30pm
• Ages 14-18 (9th-12th grade)
• Includes discussion, games, student presentations, and experiments
• Math: Pre-Algebra is a prerequisite
• Price is $350 with a $100 lab supply fee with a total of $450 for the year
• Tuition includes all lab fees, art supplies, and random fun things like salsa parties.

• Taught in person on Thursdays from 2:30-4:00 pm
• Ages 14-18 (9th-12th grade)
• Includes reading great literature and poetry, discussion, games, student presentations, poetry memorization, and writing. 
• Price is $350 plus a $100 supply fee with a total of $450 for the year
• Tuition includes all art supplies, crafts, and random fun things like poetry tea parties.
• We will have a few field trips associated with the time period we are studying.
